I currently work at theIndian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram as Associate Professor in Biology. I have completed my Ph.D in University of Madras, Chennai, India. Central Institute of Brackish water Aquaculture (CIBA), ICAIR, Chennai, India and donepost-doctoral fellow in University of Liege, Belgium. I have specialized interest in human diseases and isolated over 30 new infectious pathogens have been detected worldwide in the last three decades.
